How To Convert Your Facebook Personal Profile to a Business Page

Friends Are Not Likes

Facebook has recently announced an easy new way to convert your Facebook Personal Profile to a Business page. However, this process is meant for only those individuals who have setup a personal profile for their business, mistakenly thinking they were setting up a business page, and has some very strict limitations. One of the main advantages for converting your personal profile to a Business page is to convert all your friends into “Likes” of your business. How To Download Your Facebook Content

Download Your Information

Why should you download your Facebook content? The obvious reason is that anytime you’re storing information on someone else’s website, you should always have a copy for yourself, just in case that company disappears, changes its policies, loses its data, has its servers hacked, changes its rules about what you have access to and so on. Another reason is in case you ever want to upload your data again somewhere else, it’s much easier to do so from your own copy of your data, than to try and figure out how to migrate your content from one website to another, [...]

A Hashtag is simply a word or collection of words that categorize a tweet, embedded as part of the tweet itself. Because a Hashtag is prefaced by a # symbol, the Hashtag becomes a clickable link by which a user can then find other tweets related to that category. The official definition of a Hashtag [...]

How To Create A Custom Facebook Business Page

Eyeballs

Once intentionally the exclusive arena for college-students to hang out and socialize online, businesses are now flocking to Facebook in droves. In the past two years, Facebook has recognized the huge marketing potential it has and is finally embracing it by making its platform much more business-friendly. The sheer number of people on Facebook (500 million and counting) and the average amount of time people spend on Facebook (5+ hours per month and counting) is reason enough for marketers and businesses to get excited. The amount of personal information that can be mined up, down and across Facebook’s many, many [...]

How Much Is A Customer Worth To Your Business?

Customer

Do you know how much a customer is really worth to your business? Many small businesses think of their customers as one-time, single purchase customers. But think about it – a customer doesn’t necessarily make just one purchase from a business. In fact, getting repeat customers by building ongoing relationships is the heart of good marketing. It’s one of the reasons that social media is so appealing to marketers – it gives business the opportunity to connect and engage with customers and build ongoing relationships through other marketing channels that were previously unavailable. Add to that the fact that social [...]

Bottom Line Thinking! 3 Ways to Justify Social Media to your Boss

Smart Investor

Most C-Suite executive’s, entrepreneurs, and marketing managers know social media is  important. Those Whippersnappers are Your Customers

Social Media

We would all love a flood of new customers. Not many of us would deny that statement. However, many of the challenges of our day-to-day business battles revolve around keeping the customers we have, making them happy, getting them to buy more and prodding them to tell a friend or relative about our products or services. It’s not every day we get a chance to actually stay “top of mind” with our customers and truly have a conversation with them. Even top sales personnel sometimes don’t interact with a customer for weeks and even months.
