Facebook has just announced a partnership today with Web of Trust, a free tool that leverages crowd-sourcing to determine the “trust” factor of websites. WOT has built a database of “safe” websites based on the ratings of millions of users who have rated millions of websites based on their experiences. To rate a website, you need to have a WOT account (free) and download an add-on for the browser you use.
